MDB successfully secured the Blackall Range Independent School Admin upgrade and new build of 2 x classrooms, their new GLA building.
The project commenced with a huge site cut and the introduction of 3mt high retaining wall to support the suspended slab for the GLA building.
We are currently on track to deliver this project early December 2024.
March 2024 MDB commenced works at Gympie SHS, the project consisted of an upgrade to Hamilton Hall introducing a new ERV A/C system, internal big Ass fans, replacement of windows and upgrade of the electrical Switch board to accommodate the new supply.
We are currently on target to complete works by end July 2024.
MDB commenced works in April 2024 to deliver QBuild's conference room and toilet facilities at their local Gympie Depot.
The project was a success with the delivery of this project by end of financial year 2024.
In 2023-2024, the CBA's Commercial Health sector approached MDB to project manage the design and delivery of Mt Gravatt Private Hospital.
To facilitate the design process, we assembled a collaborative design team and coordinated efforts closely with the health consultant. Our goal was to achieve 70% Design Development (DD). Following the completion of the design phase, we successfully tendered the project, allowing the client to award a builder.
Looking ahead to 2024, we will take on the role of client-side project manager to oversee the builder and ensure successful project delivery.
In 2022 MDB collaborated with 8 Architecture to deliver the design and certification of three United service stations located in Victoria and QLD.
Bringing together a team of specialised design consultants MDB managed the design team coordinating drawings and resolving design issues.
Building permits and OP's works permits were coordinated in readiness for a Construction Certificate, and a competitive tender process was run to award builders.
For Rockpool Aged Care at Carseldine McNab employed Matt's services to deliver Rockpools 150 Bed aged care facility.
Working closely with the Rockpool team, McNab, GJG Architects and Economic Development Queensland, Matt lead the design team to value manage and coordinate the design for construction documentation and obtain building permits to commence construction in June 2020.
Despite a few contractors falling over prior to Christmas 2021 and record rain falls Matt and the McNab team managed to deliver the 5-Star Green star facility on time and within budget.
Working with McNab's site team Matt worked to complete Vitality Village.
This project consisted of 5 levels with tenancies and open working spaces on levels 2,4&5 and car parking on level 3.
At ground floor there are further tenancies and a cafe leading out to an open garden area.

Matt led his team to complete Australia’s first 5-star, green star aged care facility in Carseldine on time and within budget, a real professional.

The State Sports Facility - Matt was the project manager working for Watpac in Melbourne to deliver the design and construction of the S.S.F.P.
A complex development working with stakeholders, such as Major Projects Victoria, Parks Vic, and the Victorian Institute of Sport.
The project consisted of the re development of the old grandstand placing offices within the existing structure, a full Olympic running track and field facility, indoor pool and gymnasium.
Ivanhoe Gardens - as the Senior Project Manager for Hamilton Marino, Matt worked to design and construct this project for Blue Earth Group in Melbourne.
The project consisted of 234 apartments with a three-level basement, ground floor transfer slab and two apartment blocks, one at 11 levels, the other at 5 levels.
4248 Claremont st - as the Senior Project Manager for Hamilton Marino, Matt worked to design and construct this project for Dealcorp in Melbourne.
The project consisted of 21 levels with 119 luxury apartments, a three-level basement car park with access via car lifts and car stackers to each level.
